Alright so another double dose here. This time we've got a little of Skate Week 3/Vox Ams and our Kaslo trip.
This Last Thursday was week 3 of July Skate, and the Vox team came to premier they're Black and Blue Volume 4. My brother and Luke were lucky enough to skate with them up in kimberley during the day before they came down for the skate sesh.
I didn't hear much about it other than they were sick. Other than them being there it was a pretty typical game of skate, I don't know who one, or really who was in the finals, I wasn't really paying attention this week, what I did notice though is with the Vox guys here everyone stepped up they're games and threw down. I don't think I got any pics from the actual game of skate, I was trying to get more of the Vox guys.
There wasn't really much to the Kaslo / Nelson trip. We skated the Indoor in nelson for an hour, Larsson ran into these two girls who just love making out with eachother again. Before we went to Kaslo we went to a coffee shop that aparently had amazing sandwiches, but the fell of the place sucked.
Kaslo however was pretty rad, their park has a full bowl with a pocket at one end and a small channel at the other end. The rest of the park is mostly tranny based street with 2 small 3 sets, a small 2 flat 2 and an average sized 7 set. All with either rails or ledges going down them. I don't know why, but I didn't take many pictures. We went to check out Fletcher falls too, which are pretty much the most piratey lookin falls i've ever been too. They've got wooden walkways everywhere, fallen trees, a small cave and it's all in a canyon leading to kootenay lake, It's super gnarly.
